Cheng Cheng is an experienced and dedicated music educator specializing in Clarinet and Saxophone instruction. Currently in her fourth year of the Orchestral Clarinet Performance program at the University of Toronto, she studies under renowned clarinetists Joaquin Valdepenas and Peter Stoll, equipping her with both advanced technical knowledge and performance expertise.

With a strong background in both solo and ensemble performance, Cheng brings a wealth of practical experience to her teaching. She has served as Principal Clarinetist with the University of Toronto Wind Symphony and has participated in premiering new chamber works, reflecting her deep understanding of musical collaboration and contemporary pedagogy.

Cheng has been teaching clarinet since 2024. Her teaching style is informed by years of disciplined training—beginning with piano in early childhood and clarinet since elementary school—and enriched by her active performance career.

Cheng is passionate about nurturing the next generation of musicians and is committed to helping each student develop solid fundamentals, artistic expression, and a lifelong love for music.
