Other Accomplishments: Oliver started teaching at the Yamaha Music School in 2007. He has taught group classes in the JMC, YMC and JAC course areas, as well as teaching private students of all ages. In 2017 Oliver taught high school music for 6 years at a private IB school, teaching general music and band. He has recently returned to Yamaha as the National Course Supervisor and is very excited to be returning to the Yamaha family. Oliver has performed in many different locations, both individually and in groups and won at the Liverpool Music Festival in 2004. Oliver lives in Toronto with his wife and son who will be graduating from JMC4 this year. Oliver has a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) in Music from the University of Liverpool, a Diploma in piano performance from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music and holds both Yamaha Grade 5 Piano and Grade 5 Fundamentals.
