Lea started her studies at Yamaha Music School at the age of four and began the composition program at the age of 6. She performed her original music in Edmonton, Toronto, Winnipeg and Mississauga and was invited to perform her duet “Butterflies” at the Asia Oceania Junior Original Concert held in Hong Kong. She also played her compositions with the Cedar Ridge Pops near Georgian Bay at a fundraising concert and with the Toronto Philharmonia at the Toronto Centre for the Performing Arts. She enjoys teaching students of all ages and believes that lessons should be a balance between fun and hard work. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Education, and a Bachelor of Arts in French, Biology and Environmental and Health Studies. She is also planning to continue teaching music and volunteering at school bands in hopes to inspiring musicians of all ages.
